Sunny Spots in Winter

This video reminded me about sunny spots in the middle of winter. It is much akin to sitting in front of a fire in many ways. I love those moments when you can just relax and enjoy the simple things in life. It is amazing to think that in this complex world we are living in, it that something as simple as a warm spot can make us the happiest. Maybe a simple life would be more appeasing to many of us. Living a more simple life, maybe a less cluttered life, has been on my mind lately. especially as I have been going through all of my possessions.

Evangelione is Yeo Mei Ying’s blog/website where she shares her craft of making handmade dolls. She has also had her dolls in a few art shows. She doesn’t use a lot of words but I find her dolls adorably evil looking and love the composition of many of her photos. She has taken a break from taking orders but hopefully she will be able to take them soon. Until then we can enjoy them on her blog.

Big Bear’s Wife has a neat tutorial on how to makeover flower vases but the thing that really drew me to her post were the stickers she used.

Sorry if this gets a bit long but I am a few weeks behind.

I can’t wait to try out these Sloppy Turkey Joes from Skinnylusciuos one week. I have been constantly looking for new lunch ideas and need something filling since I spend half of my day on my feet.

These Bacon-wrapped baked eggs from Hello Little House should make a great quick breakfast.

I am not sure about these Baked Cheeseburger Egg Rolls but they seem interesting. And worse comes to worse you can just drown them in ketchup! lol.

I have high hopes for these ‘Olive Garden’ Breadsticks and hope they are as delicious as the restaurants.
