​This video reminded me about sunny spots in the middle of winter. It is much akin to sitting in front of a fire in many ways. I love those moments when you can just relax and enjoy the simple things in life. It is amazing to think that in this complex world we are living in, it that something as simple as a warm spot can make us the happiest. Maybe a simple life would be more appeasing to many of us. Living a more simple life, maybe a less cluttered life, has been on my mind lately. especially as I have been going through all of my possessions. 

I have been working on making these heart shaped crayons and will hopefully use them for an art piece. Here are a few snap shots of what I have so far. 

These Maple syrup infused funnel cakes would be a neat dessert idea for a party.

Evangelione is Yeo Mei Ying’s blog/website where she shares her craft of making handmade dolls. She has also had her dolls in a few art shows. She doesn’t use a lot of words but I find her dolls adorably evil looking and love the composition of many of her photos. She has taken a break from taking orders but hopefully she will be able to take them soon. Until then we can enjoy them on her blog. 

Today I am making this Rotating Goal List from Cornflower Blue. I will let you know how it is working in a month! 

I made this cute Advent Calendar from Next to Nicx. I finished about halfway through Advent but better late than never! 

And sadly with the holidays and getting settled into my apartment I am rather late with this post. Happy Holidays and A Happy New Year!

Isla Everywhere has a quick and easy way to alter an over-sized sweater which is perfect for me since I am working on losing weight.
